Hailong Village was once a major biogas construction village. In the 1970s, in order to solve the problem of firewood shortage, Hailong Village vigorously developed stone biogas digesters and launched the "energy revolution" in rural areas. With the widespread use of energy such as electricity and natural gas, as well as the large number of rural populations going out, the biogas digesters in Hailong Village are gradually being abandoned. Nowadays, Hailong Village relies on the construction of China Biogas Expo Park to vigorously develop ecological circular agriculture and agricultural tourism industry, promote rural cultural revitalization, and make agriculture stronger, farmers richer, and rural areas more beautiful. The abandoned biogas digester is rejuvenated with new machines. Restore the appearance of old biogas digesters in the local area, plan to build a China Biogas Expo Park, build a biogas exhibition hall, a rural energy history museum, and other characteristic gardens.
